Accessibility
Accessibility is part of Koru Local. We are working toward keyboard navigation and screen reader access across the app, without requiring a Cloud subscription.
Keyboard navigation
Existing keyboard controls include text editing, shortcuts, and arrow-key/Enter selection in supported pickers. Completing every app workflow without a pointer is still planned.
Screen reader support
App-wide screen reader support is planned. Setup, navigation, document reading and editing still need implementation and release acceptance.
Platforms and testing
The first planned accessibility release targets Windows. App-wide support on macOS, iOS and Android is later work. We do not yet publish a verified screen-reader/platform support matrix.
Known limitations
Existing shortcuts do not establish complete keyboard access. Accessible editor semantics and screen-reader exposure across controls are planned; support should not yet be assumed across the app.
Included in Koru Local
Keyboard navigation and screen reader support will be available equally to Free and Cloud users as they ship. A Cloud subscription will not unlock accessibility.
This website
The site uses semantic headings, keyboard-operable controls, visible focus and reduced-motion playback. Demo descriptions are available as text, including where recordings are still placeholders.
Report an accessibility problem
Email us with your Koru version, operating system, assistive technology, steps taken, and what you expected versus what happened. You do not need to send private documents.
