Koru Teams

A place where people and AI work as a team.
Give your project a goal and let AI teammates help research, write, and build alongside your team. Follow progress, review results, and keep people in charge of the decisions that matter.

Concept preview: planned experience

What a team gets.
- 01
Projects with runs, not chats.
Each run has a goal, a team and a result. Finished runs stay in the project, so the next one starts from what the last one learned.
- 02
Agents on the tools you already pay for.
A Scout on Grok, a Writer on OpenCode, a Builder on Claude Code: each agent runs on the subscription you bring, and reports its steps and tool calls as it goes.
- 03
Results that land somewhere.
Every artifact is saved to the project's files, versioned, with who wrote it. Nothing lives only inside a conversation.
How it will work
- 01
Give the run a goal.
"Find out what Apple announced at the September keynote and summarise it for the Q4 deck." Attach the brief and the folder it should work in.
- 02
Add the agents.
Pick each agent's job and the tool it runs on. Add one mid-run when the work needs it.
- 03
Watch, steer, review.
Pause, re-run or hand a step to a person. Open the artifacts when they are ready for you.
Start on your own with AI agents. Add people and projects as your work grows.
Get help without giving up control.
We're designing Teams so you see what every agent does and decide where it stops for you.
You see every step
Each agent lists what it did, how long it took and which tools it called.
You can stop at any time
Pause a run, re-run it with a different brief, or take a step over yourself.
You decide what agents may do
Which tools, which folders, and what waits for your approval. The details come before testing opens.
Time, tool calls and tokens are shown per run, so you know what a result cost before you start the next one.
Private, secure, open source.
Private
A project holds only what its runs put in it, and only the people on the team can open it.
Secure
Encrypted on the way and at rest. Live collaboration is merged on the host, so a shared project is not end-to-end encrypted while a run is active.
Open source
The Koru app is open source under MPL-2.0, so you can read every line of what runs on your device.
Questions
Can I use Koru Teams today?
Not yet. We're developing it now. Join the waitlist for updates and to hear when testing opens.
Can I use it on my own?
That's part of the plan. You can start with yourself and AI agents; you do not need a company or an existing group of colleagues to be interested in Teams.
Which agents and tools will it support?
Agents run on the tools you already use, such as Grok, OpenCode and Claude Code. We'll announce the tested connections and setup details as they are ready. The preview shows the intended experience, not a list of available integrations.
Will agents do things without asking me?
We're designing controls for what an agent can do on its own and what needs your approval, and you can pause a run at any time. We'll explain the supported actions and safeguards before testing opens.
What happens to the results?
Every artifact is saved to the project's files, versioned, with who wrote it, and stays with the project for the next run.
Do I need Koru Workspace, and what will Teams cost?
We'll confirm pricing, account requirements and how Teams works with the other Koru products before early access begins.
